CBD, also known as cannabidiol, is a natural compound extracted from the leaves, stems and flowers of industrial hemp or marijuana. It is the most widely used non-intoxicating cannabinoid found in the Cannabis sativa plant. Hemp-based CBD extracts should not be confused with CBD from marijuana. Although both come from the same plant, all our CBD products contain CBD derived from industrial hemp.

Hemp-based CBD products are made from hemp plants that contain less than 0.3% THC, but traces are still present. As with all hemp products, there is a small risk that consuming CBD may result in a positive drug test for THC. If this is a concern, we advise you to talk to your employer or doctor before ingesting.

Thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp and hemp-derived products can be legally produced, sold and consumed in all 50 states. These products must be derived from industrial hemp that contains less than 0.3 percent THC. However, states can still decide whether to allow the sale and production of hemp products.
